In State College, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Pennsylvania vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–7 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. I have come here twice now for an oil change. The first time, there was grease inside my car in multiple spots on the driver side, however I was able to clean this up. The second time, I now have very visible white scratches on the outside of my car. Service is fine and gets the job done, but I always end up with some sort of minor blemishes to the inside/outside of my car (1 star).. I don't have a fancy car or anything and only care about functionality. I also can't prove that this happened here, since I don't have before pictures of the same day. But for someone who cares about aesthetics or miner damages, I wouldn't recommend coming here for service. One other thing is that in my receipt, they said I approved additional purchases to my vehicle but I did not. So I wouldn't recommend coming here on a strict fixed budget, as you might be charged without your consent (-1 star). I have been to many different types of dealerships (albeit in California) and have never encountered these issues...

I had an outstanding experience at this dealership from start to finish. The entire team was welcoming, accommodating, honest, and there was absolutely no pressure throughout the process. Kyle Hendrickes (sales) and JB Paules (finance) were both awesome to work withβ€”they made everything easy and enjoyable. Great vibes! A special shoutout to the General Manager, Matt Knaby, for working with me on the price. He was incredibly fair and generous, and I truly appreciate his willingness to make the deal happen. I’m beyond happy with my purchase and the exceptional customer service I received. I won’t be going anywhere else for future vehicles, and I’ll definitely be recommending this dealership to all of my friends and family. Thanks again to the entire team for such a great experience! My ride is πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ (already got the windows tinted)

Just had a wonderful car buying experience here. Everyone was very nice and I never felt any pressure. Pricing was incredibly fair. Kyle was great to work with! Will definitely shop here again!

The dealership was bought out by Bobby Rahal (used to be Joel Confer). I made a service appointment online and dropped it off the night before at the convenient key drop. The company sent a reminder text message the day before, confirmation text message in the morning, and was readily communicative as needed. An annual inspection, emissions test, and oil change was $180ish and seems reasonable. Will definitely return.

Decent trade in and price. Great quality cars and service. But the end was very strange and unpleasant. After paying cash for a car I now owned, and finished all paperwork, the salesman held my keys hostage. He told me I had to install a Toyota app. I respectfully told him 3 times this was a gift for my child and I wanted it left as new for them to do that. He wouldn’t allow it and kept my keys, despite three times me asking to not have to install the app and just let me drive away. I finally relented as he would not budge after three requests. After spending 20 minutes in a hot car installing an app I told him I didn’t want, I had to spend another 30 minutes sitting in the hot car the following day after work removing my name from the dashboard and removing the Toyota app I never wanted on my phone. Experiences like this make me want to use Carvana with no human interactions. If I’m spending this kind of money, I should get what I pay for without being forced to install things on a phone and information in the car, I, the customer, never wanted there. UPDATE - and after finally resetting it back to the Welcome screen my child should have seen first time in their car (instead
